Youmna and Anthony welcome you to this vast family home located between land and sea in the heart of Châtelaudren, little town of character, overlooking the village and the Minihy pond.


La Récréation is the promise of a return to childhood in every nook and cranny of this typically building from Brittany, warm and rich in its history of the school of yesteryear.

the story of la récréation

Built in 1892 to accommodate the Sainte-Anne school and the congregation of the daughters of the Holy Spirit, the building will have up to 140 students. Requested and transformed into a military hospital during the First World War, the school will not cease to maintain its vocation of education even during this period. Sainte-Anne school will continue teaching until the early 2000s before closing its doors for good.


La Récréation, guest house and apartments, wanted to give new life to this old school and bring its guests back, during their stay, to the school benches in joy and good humor.

La Récréation offers daily breakfast made with local, organic products where home-made products take pride of place for the pleasure of everyone. Our guest house table invites you in the evening, by reservation only, to rediscover the dishes of our childhood cooked by Anthony and Youmna.

10 minutes from the first beaches and within a 45 minutes radius, enjoy the extraordinary landscapes that the region offers you for day trips (pink granite coast, Cap-Fréhel, Bréhat Ilsland, cliff route, Paimpol, Dinan). Dinard, Saint-Malo or Mont-Saint-Michel are also easily accessible.
